How to implement a workflow process ?

The workflow to Maximo it's like a spirit to the body. Work flow designe it's like a Piece of  cake
maybe we have tour soon .

Maximo 7.6 installation

New Maximo 7.6 installation is my today challenge, When I complete this challenge I will share my experience in this  post ,see you later ........

Hi every body again I document my notes in the installation as following guide
, and you will note that my scenario build on  Oracle as database Engine (installed before here) and IBM websphere as application server.

it is very important to review the installation prerequisite very carefully here,
then download source from here , after that extract Maximo source to temporary folder  like following

and also extract WAS inside this  folder as you see in the previews snapshot

1. Maximo 7.6 installer has been changed from the previews versions which called IBM Installer Manger.
2. launch the launchpad64.exe

3- select Websphere As application server (in this scenario I use Oracle as my DB Engine ) and select also IBM Maximo asset Management V7.6
then hit Install IBM Maximo Asset Management components in the bottom

4- in this screen keep as default and hit next

5- IIM make some validations and preparations

6-Accept then hit next

7- in this screen demitting the shared resources directory
I prefer to omitted <program files> from my installation Directory.

8- here you determining the installation directory fro the websphere (I prefer to omitted <program files> from my installation Directory)

9- in this screen keep defaults then hit next.

10- this screen listed to you all components will be installed, keep defaults then hit next.

11- in this screen will prompt you with all required parameter for HTTP server

12- this is as summery ,hit install

12- the installation process start and take some time.

13 - the installation still in progress.

14 - the middleware installation has been completed , hit finish.

15- the deployment configuration tool will lunch.

16- select Prepare Websphere Application server for Configuration to configure Websphere

17- keep defaults , hit next

18- in the bottom section set the password for the wasadmin user, hit next.

19- keep defaults , hit next.

20- select default authentication ,hit next.

21- keep defaults , hit next

22- the configuration start ,it is take some times.

23- the configuration has been completed.

24 - in the following steps we will define database and create Maximo schema and  deploy the EAR
Select Configure a new deployment

25- in this screen select oracle in database type  and define host name/ip
 , select Wepshere as Application server and define its  host name/ip ,then  hit next

26- define oracle database installation and instance directory,hit next

27- enter wasadmin password and HTTP server parameters , then hit next.

28- set the passwords for maxadmin,mxintadm and maxreg users ,then hit next.

29- select ARABIC as additional language, hit next.

30- finally hit finish, and Waite for complete.

31- it's take a time.

32- the Installation completed successfully.

33- to open wabsphere console http://localhost:9060/admin

33- to open wabsphere console http://localhost:9080/maximo
